True Norwegian Black Metal Doc.

DISCLAIMER: I do not promote church burnings. As any music I am interested in the music. This is sure to be a controversial documentary. I wonder how much promotion it will get and what the ramifications for "Black Metal" being played here in the states will be. As a music I enjoy its harsh originality and strong sense of culture, as an ethos it is just plain stupid, and a bunch of kids taking KISS and Alice Cooper WAYYYYY too serious.
-That is all.

Idris Muhammed - Paul's Boutique Intro

I hope everyone recognizes this one, Mike? Paul's Boutique is just sure genius and they must have found this obscurity for 50 cents in Brooklyn and used it to intro Paul's Boutique, STILL the greatest hip-hop I've ever heard.

10 CC - Donna

A 70's Falsetto Doo-Wop track by 10 CC. A really strange band of excellent musicians, one guy wrote the hits for the Yardbirds, one guy was in Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders.

David Bowie and Bing Crosby CHRISTMAS SONG

I got this from my friend Mike's BLOG. ITs such a great medley.
A little Christmas music for the season.

POST 500

This very fitting for my #500 post, because Doo-Wop has been reigning supreme in my life. It is currently my hunting craze for 45's as well as one of my faves to listen to., There are countless Doo- Wop bands, not all of them are cars or birds. SOme are.....
Enjoy Maurice Williams and The Zodiacs. Such a good track. What movie is this from? Anyone?

GANGSTA LUV

You might think this is a non sequitur after Johnny Cash, but Snoop was on a Cash Bio I was watching this morning. This video is great and the best Snoop song in a while.

Johnny Cash - Hurt

Always tears me up. Such a striking good bye.

I'll figure it out myself.....

Mike Muir is a genius. His other bands are worth listening to as well, his funk band Infectious Grooves and the hardcore metal No Mercy. I first saw this on Beavis & Butt-head. The Pepsi bit is so great......

Probot - Shake Your Blood

I kinda half forgot how awesome of a metal smorgasbord plus Dave Grohl this band/album was. This was the big single with Lemmy and 66 Suicide Girls. Its pretty good.....

My professor

Eric J Anctil, who I really really enjoyed for my class Dimensions of Education is a well-published author. This is his new book.

Even more Ronnie Dio and the Prophets

Master of Metal and Doo-Wop!

More Ronnie James Dio

This one is a little more upbeat. I can't believe they got on Atlantic Records.

Ronnie James DOO-WOP?

Yep, this is Ronnie James Dio of Sabbath, Dio and Elf fame, before. 1958. Doo Wop was huge! It will rise again!
