Tarantula!!!!! Portugal's Finest Metal!

This is a metal band from the 80's. And they are from Portugal. I found them on a music blog. And downloaded them, not expecting anything special. Metal can be one of those genres that have lots and lots of copy-cats. But, for some reason, this album totally rules! I don't know why. It could be the album cover, the band name, the songs, the cheesiness or all of the above. Probably the latter. But, please download this and give it at least three listens. Apparently they have many other albums, this is their first and most raw, I would assume. Still the licks are there. I think they are actually still around and kickin and quite popular in Portugal. The Iron Maiden of Portugal. "We run for the Spider!" The album starts with a sound clip that sounds like its from He-Man. A battle cat roar or something on "The Battle for the Victory." I genuinely like this whole album. Special attention to "Cry for the Spider" and "The Battle for the Victory."
